At Nurturing Families, we offer a variety of services and programmes designed to support parents and children in our community. From Crisis Packs filled with essential items to our diverse community programmes, our aim is to empower lives, build resilient communities, and nurture the potential of future generations.
Crisis Packs
Crisis Packs are ordered via a front line social service on behalf of a client. These packs are filled with essential clothing, feeding, and/or hygiene products as well as larger safety items (carseat, safe sleeping space, pram) when available. You can request a Crisis Pack here.
Giggle & Grow
A weekly parenting group where parents and children are welcomed into our Community Hub for a morning of play, social interaction and peer support. Group Facilitators tailor each session to a different theme or topic as guided by attendees.
The Santa Club

We Are Their Village
“We Are Their Village” stands as a cornerstone of our annual fundraising efforts. It’s not just a campaign; it’s a lifeline for our organisation. Over the span of a dedicated week, the funds generated enable our daily operations. Learn more about this year’s campaign.
Henderson Centre
Location: 94b Railside Road, Henderson
Our Nurturing Families Community Centre is a vibrant hub where West Auckland residents come together to learn, connect, create, and support one another. From hosting support groups and community classes, to providing a safe haven for those navigating the often isolated road of parenting, the centre has become an indispensable resource for our diverse population.
Taranaki Branch
Nurturing Families Taranaki, our dedicated branch in the region, is coordinated by Roseanne Williams alongside a committed team of volunteers.
